UW & COE Jobsite Safety

Ron Fouty with the University of Washington and Tim Grube with the Corp. of Engineers will speak on safety plans for contractors working on UW projects and under COE contracts.

Ron has been a Safety Professional in the Construction industry for 19 years.  His career has included working with specialty trade contractors, environmental cleanup and response organizations, and GC/CM organizations.  He is currently the safety director for the UW Capital Projects Office..”

 Tim Grube is the Safety & Occupational Health manager for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District. Seattle District includes western Montana , northern Idaho and Washington state. Tim oversees safety programs that include dredging, military construction, O&M for hydropower and flood control dams.  He has been managing the safety program for the Seattle District for 20 years. He is an OSHA 10 & 30 hour construction safety trainer.
