The existing South Park Bridge is scheduled for closure on June 30, 2010. 

To get to the Aerospace Machinists Hall and avoid the bridge you must take Hwy 599

I spoke to the project manager of the bridge and she said it has opened and closed intermittently in the last 3 months. 
Right now it’s open but it was closed for 3 days last week, and because of its deteriorating condition there is no way 
to project when it will be open or closed.


So directions are

From south of Tukwila heading north on I-5

Exit off northbound I-5  at WA-599 N (signs for WA-599 N ,  Tukwila ,  W Marginal Way) this is the exit after Southcenter

Continue onto WA-99 N for 1.6 miles
Take the 14th Ave S exit
Turn left at 14th Ave S
Take the 2nd right onto S Director St
Take the 1st right onto 15th Pl S 
Destination will be on the right


From Seattle or North of Seattle

Get onto Hwy 99 South (anywhere north of the  1st Ave South Bridge)
Go over the 1st Ave South Bridge
Take the exit at the bottom of the 1st Ave South Bridge toward South Park
Merge onto 2nd Ave SW
Continue onto W Marginal Way/WA-99 S (looping back around under the 1st Ave South Bridge)
Take the exit toward 14th Ave S  
Merge onto Des Moines Memorial Dr S
Turn right at S Director St
Take the 1st right onto 15th Pl S 
Destination will be on the right
