Temporary Electrical Power
How to Manage it on the Jobsite

Speaker: Wellington Troncoso,
DOSH Safety Consultant

Rebar Cages
Engineering and Best Practices for Installation

Speaker: Charlie Degasparis,
Engineer with Atkinson Construction

For the November meeting we are going to focus on two different topics.

Temporary electrical power on the jobsite is both important and potentially hazardous. Especially in the wet Northwest winters extra precautions are needed to prevent possible exposure to electrocution.

Rebar cage accidents have been prominent in the news recently so we are bringing in an engineer who has developed best practices to avoid potential accidents when constructing and placing cages.

"The Safety Summit is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when employers, labor, and government work cooperatively to attain a common goal - in this case, the reduction of deaths and serious job-related injuries."
