Asbestos Awareness Certification

Date: June 08, 2011

The June summit meeting will be devoted to Asbestos Awareness.

This is your opportunity to get an OSHA certified training in Asbestos Awareness.

Many contractors these days are involved in remodel work, which brings the possibility of asbestos exposure. There are very specific rules and protocols that must be followed when asbestos is located.

During the course of this 2 hour training you will learn the ins and outs of dealing with this potentially very dangerous material.

Your trainers will be

Rick Gleason with the University Washington and Pacific Northwest OSHA Education Center,

Thom Erwin, Regulated Materials Manager with the Port of Seattle
