Risk Management Center
SMART in partnership with Approach Management Services, has made available at no additional cost to members our Risk Management Center! This web-based application creates an individual site for each Smart member to maintain and assist with safety and loss control needs.
Your website includes:
• Incident Tracking , with real-time OSHA 300 reporting, anytime, anywhere you need to produce a record.
• Online MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) Management, Retrieval and Storage for your individual company. Available to any corporate job or site, and customizable to each location if necessary.
• Employee Training Tracking with extensive reporting and expiration reminders. Keep track of any required or optional training for employees, and have automatic notifications sent for re-certification requirements.
• Certificate of Insurance Tracking. Keep track of any insurance certificate requirements your company needs to either have on file, or provide to customers. Automatic notifications can be set up to have update letters produced as current certificates approach the end of their coverage periods.
• A risk management library (English & Spanish) with sample policies, training materials, human resource materials, safety posters and more. All in Word or Power Point for you to customize to your company's needs. Create your company’s “Safety Manual” with the hundreds of documents available in the library.
• A member specific "My Content" for our association members and their loss control staff to "build-out" risk management, and other resources (e.g., Human Resources, Quality, etc). Essentially you are “copying documents out of the” main library” and placing them in your own company’s private library.
• Position Description (Job Analysis), JHA ( Job Hazard Analysis) developer; with a Behavior Based Safety application. Create your company’s unique job descriptions for use in hiring, creating modified duty, or producing a JHA for a specific job or site.
• Online training sessions and resources to assist in managing your company's safety and claims.
• Ask the Experts. Present questions to experienced risk management professionals for unbiased and expert answers to your questions.
• A Weekly Branded Training Short service will be provided.
Regularly scheduled web-based training sessions and telephone support will get you and your safety staff up and running with the Risk Management tools in no time.
