Lead/Asbestos Awareness: Lacey
Instructor: Jim ChapmanDo your workers understand the health hazards associated with lead and asbestos contaminated sites? Asbestosis, lung cancer, and damage to the central nervous system, are just a few of the possible adverse effects of exposure to lead or asbestos.
Join us for this valuable session and learn to detect these hazardous substances as well as the proper procedures for working under lead/asbestos contaminated conditions. Topics include; the 4 classes of asbestos work, regulations regarding ACM, appropriate personal protective equipment, and legal requirements.
Lead Asbestos Awareness training is required by the Washington State Department of Occupational Health and Safety (DOSH) for all employees working on a job site that currently contains or has contained lead and/or asbestos.
