Instructor: SMART Instructor

The newest version of MEDIC FIRST AID's Bloodborne Pathogens in the Workplace is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge necessary to help reduce or eliminate the occupational risk of bloodborne pathogens.

The training program teaches the information every employee who has occupational exposure needs to know to avoid accidental exposure to potentially infectious materials and to manage an accidental exposure if one occurs.

Per Washington State WAC code 296-823 Blood Borne Pathogens Training is required at the time of hire or assignment to a position with exposure, and annually thereafter.
